Today I would like to introduce you to Cami Tout, owner of Camilee Designs. Cami designs the most beautiful jewelery and also has such a big heart. I am inspired by her story and just love this piece, Love Like Liam, visit her shop to find out what makes it so special!

Tell us a little about your shop:  Camilee Designs offers jewelry made of semi-precious stones and metals and personalized necklaces in sterling silver and goldfill.

Amethyst Flower Necklace – Puple Petals Pendant made of Briolettes

What is your favorite item in your shop and why:   My favorite piece to create changes a lot.  I get bored easily.  Sometimes I worry that my shop lacks cohesiveness because I like variety.  Right now I’m loving my one-of-a-kind mosaic pieces.  Once I start them they seem create themselves.  Plus, I’ve always loved anything mosaic.

Mosaic Earrings – Orange and Yellow Gemstone Circle Earring

What inspires you: I find a lot of inspiration in color combinations and patterns in textiles.  I think my best ideas have come from browsing through wallpaper books or looking at bedding sets.  Inspiration can come from the wackiest places for me – a video game, shopping for nail polish, or sometimes just out of thin air.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why: I would love to visit so many places.  My husband is traveling to India later this month on business and I am green with envy!  I would love to buy some stones directly from the source!  I would also love to visit Ireland.  My very best friend visits frequently and it looks like the kind of place that could help me slow down and appreciate life more.

Pac Man Necklace – 80s Love PacMan Heart Ghost

What’s your favorite movie/musician/book/artisan or creative person you think we should know about:  My favorite musician is Joshua Radin.  I heard his music about 5 years ago and was entranced.  The Postal Service and Pat Benetar also have my undying love.

Any business advice or future goals you would like to share:  My goal for this year is to find time to produce more items while not letting other areas of my life suffer.  I have some great opportunities waiting for me if I could just find the time to seize them!
